Swedish Relaxation Massage

Swedish Relaxation Massage is a full-body massage designed to ease muscular tension, improve circulation, and calm the nervous system. Using long, flowing strokes with light to moderate pressure, this soothing massage promotes deep relaxation of both body and mind.

At Roots to Wings, this massage is delivered with a nurturing and intuitive approach, creating a safe space for you to fully let go, recharge, and reconnect with yourself.

How Often Should I Have a Session?

A massage every 3-4 weeks supports general wellness and stress relief. More frequent sessions may be recommended for those managing chronic tension or high stress.

Crystal Therapy

Reconnect with balance and inner harmony.

Crystal Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive healing technique that uses the energetic properties of crystals to support emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. During the session, specific crystals are intuitively chosen and placed on or around your body to align, cleanse, and restore the natural flow of energy.

The natural frequencies of the crystals work in harmony with your body to release stagnant energy, promote relaxation, and invite clarity and peace. Each session is deeply unique and tailored to your energetic needs and your guiding intention.

This is a calming, restorative experience ideal for anyone seeking stress relief, energetic balance, or support through emotional transitions.

How Often Should I Have a Session?

Monthly sessions are ideal for ongoing balance and energetic maintenance, though weekly or bi-weekly can be beneficial during times of stress or transition.

Indian Head Massage (IHM)

Indian head massage is an ancient healing art rooted in Ayurvedic Medicine, that has been practiced in India for over thousands of years. Indian head massage has been beautifully described by my teacher as part science, as the nourishing effects it has on mind, body and soul, and an art, in knowing which strokes to apply and how to apply them in order to leave the whole body feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, energized and balanced. IHM works on physical and emotional symptoms within our bodies by easing muscle tension, releasing endorphins and thus promoting deep relaxation. Energetically IHM utilizes Marmani (pressure points located in the shoulders, neck, head/scalp and face) to stimulate circulation of, and rebalancing of, Prana (life force energy) as well as releasing blockages that can cause stress, tension and dis-ease. IHM is a truly holistic therapy that aims to balance the body, mind and spirit.

How to Prepare for Your Session

  • Hydrate well before your appointment.
  • Avoid heavy meals at least 1 hour prior to your session.
  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (especially for Crystal Therapy).
  • Arrive a few minutes early to settle in and transition from your day.
  • For your comfort, all sessions are carried out in a peaceful, grounding space designed to help you feel safe and supported.

After Your Session: What to Expect

You may feel:

  • Deeply relaxed or even slightly sleepy
  • Emotionally lighter or more centered
  • A sense of clarity or release
  • Occasionally, some mild fatigue or emotional processing (this is normal and passes)

After session:

  • Taking time to rest or move gently through the rest of your day
  • Drinking plenty of water to support energetic and physical detox
  • Journaling or quiet reflection if anything came up during the session
